How God Gives Us Victory In All The Trials Of Our Life

Without a battle shield and protection, as well as without the ability to fight back, man is easily defeated by the opponent. Because of this, your adversary will be able to take you down quickly. I don't know what you are going through right now, but I have wonderful news for you that will help you get over whatever you are going through in life. However, allow me to share my experience with you in order to clarify the issue and its solution.

One of the things I enjoy about worship is that in addition to worshipping God and spending time with Him, I also get to feel His powerful presence, which is how we begin our conversation. In my experience, as I would simply sit there and listen to worship music, the presence of God would suddenly become quite strong, even while I was in the restroom. He responds to me even though I just speak to him in my thoughts.

One of the questions that came to me for me to ask Him was, "Why should people have problems?" "Why should people suffer?" I'm aware that we are engaged in spiritual warfare as I ask that. Because He has the power to bring about people's peace, joy, and love, I persisted in asking Him if He will engage in the conflict with the demons in order to put an end to it and ensure that there will be no more pain, challenges, or other things that we observe in worldly trials. But as a result of our conversation, I also understood that I am merely a person and cannot assume authority over God. However, God is aware of the fact that we are inferior to him in wisdom. He was gracious enough to explain everything to me and address my concerns so that I could comprehend.

God responded to me by saying, "I am the one fighting your battle." "God shared His glory with you out of His great love for you." "Being a child of God allows you to share in both his glory and his suffering."

He revealed to me that He sent Jesus Christ into the world to save mankind out of His love for them. Jesus will baptise you with the Holy Spirit, the same Spirit that lives in the people of those who have accepted Him. As a result, we can share in God's glory, but we also have to share in Jesus' suffering when he was on earth. Then God gave me the following verse in mind:

ROMANS 8:15-17 (NLT)

15 So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God’s Spirit when he adopted you as his own children. Now we call him, “Abba, Father.” 16 For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God’s children. 17 And since we are his children, we are his heirs. In fact, together with Christ we are heirs of God’s glory. But if we are to share his glory, we must also share his suffering.

One of them, power or authority, is what He meant by "glory." This is what God has given us, since those who accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior are said to be God's children and receive the Holy Spirit. It is exactly what Jesus Christ did while He was on earth that we should do in this situation, and we can likewise experience His suffering. In other words, because Jesus Christ adopted us as His own children so that we could partake in His glory, God uses humanity in His battle with the devil. The real war is between God and Satan, but God just uses humans as soldiers in His fight with him. Therefore, the Holy Spirit that we have gives us power. But because He is aware of the limits of our understanding, God took the time to fully explain it to me. God then directed me to the passage in the David and Goliath story that describes how He will fight our warfare.

1 SAMUEL 17:32 (NLT)

“Don’t worry about this Philistine,” David told Saul. “I’ll go fight him!”

According to that verse, the Philistine is a metaphor for our adversary (Satan). Then God used David, similar to how Satan and God both use humanity. God will thus fight our battle in this way. God said that we shouldn't worry about our hardships or our current circumstances because He will conquer them, the same thing that David said to Saul in 1 Samuel 17:32.

DEUTERONOMY 20:4 (NLT)

For the Lord your God is going with you! He will fight for you against your enemies, and he will give you victory!’

1 SAMUEL 17:33 (NLT)

“Don’t be ridiculous!” Saul replied. “There’s no way you can fight this Philistine and possibly win! You’re only a boy, and he’s been a man of war since his youth.”

But what actually happened was that flesh said, "Don't be ridiculous!" You can never fight your situation or problem and win! Because your problem is so big, you do not know how to fix it, similar to what Saul said to David in 1 Samuel 17:33. People can therefore claim that I am unable to handle my situation, that I have gone insane for thinking this, etc.

1 SAMUEL 17:34-37 (NLT)

34 But David persisted. “I have been taking care of my father’s sheep and goats,” he said. “When a lion or a bear comes to steal a lamb from the flock, 35 I go after it with a club and rescue the lamb from its mouth. If the animal turns on me, I catch it by the jaw and club it to death. 36 I have done this to both lions and bears, and I’ll do it to this pagan Philistine, too, for he has defied the armies of the living God! 37 The Lord who rescued me from the claws of the lion and the bear will rescue me from this Philistine!” Saul finally consented. “All right, go ahead,” he said. “And may the Lord be with you!”

However, the Holy Spirit will remind you of God's Word, and then you will also recall your previous triumphs and times when you were reassured or soothed and were able to overcome despite numerous obstacles. Even if you can also claim that your past was difficult, you overcame it with God's grace. God will help us in a variety of ways, but since man's intellect is contrary to that of God, he or she will not fully comprehend unless God reveals it to them.

We are simply humans; thus, we cannot attempt to measure up to God's wisdom. With the help of the Holy Spirit, we can comprehend everything. However, if you are filled with the Spirit of God, He will constantly remind you of the truths of His word that are engraved in your mind and heart. In order to defeat the unpleasant thoughts that entered your mind, you will apply that word of God once you start listening to the voice of the Spirit—words that serve as weapons for your circumstance, similar to this verse, for example.

PSALM 23:1-6 (NLT)

1 The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need. 2 He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams. 3 He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name. 4 Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me. 5 You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings. 6 Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever.

You will also remember how God rescued you in the past without forsaking you, even though what you went through was difficult, because of that Word of God that was reminded by the Holy Spirit in your heart or thoughts. You have the faith to overcome your other issues or troubles because of this. As a result, you are able to affirm that "THE LORD WHO SAVED ME IN MY PAST TRIALS, HE WILL ALSO HELP ME WITH MY PROBLEMS NOW," the same as what David said to Saul in 1 Samuel 17:37. Because of this, I am able to say to myself, "May the Lord be with me."

1 SAMUEL 17:38-40 (NLT)

38 Then Saul gave David his own armor—a bronze helmet and a coat of mail. 39 David put it on, strapped the sword over it, and took a step or two to see what it was like, for he had never worn such things before. “I can’t go in these,” he protested to Saul. “I’m not used to them.” So David took them off again. 40 He picked up five smooth stones from a stream and put them into his shepherd’s bag. Then, armed only with his shepherd’s staff and sling, he started across the valley to fight the Philistine.

The main drawback is that flesh will discover a solution to the issue. Saul did the same thing when he handed David his own armour (1 Samuel 17:38). It's also you, since you get carried away with ideas like "I should do this or follow that," etc. If doing so will help you overcome your problems or difficulties, then you should do it. You are attempting it because you haven't tried any other options. similar to what David accomplished in 1 Samuel 17:39. Your mindset will change, though, since the Holy Spirit you possess is greater than the adversary. You have listened to the Holy Spirit, so that's what it implies.

What you ought to do is exactly what David did when he collected five smooth stones from a stream and placed them in his shepherd's bag, similar to what we read in 1 Samuel 17:40. So, if you are aware of your relationship with God or who you are in regard to Him, acquire God's promise words (the Bible verse). Your weapon of choice in battle is that. Wearing all of God's armour will help you stay victorious in war, and you'll always use it.

JOHN 7:38 (NLT)

Anyone who believes in me may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare, ‘Rivers of living water will flow from his heart.’

EPHESIANS 6:13-17 (NLT)

13 Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. 14 Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. 15 For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared. 16 In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil. 17 Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

No matter what hardships we face, we will always use that verse to ensure that we are not overcome by them because they are the adversary of our lives. Man is exceedingly weak; only God has any strength. Only he has the power to save us. He is the one who empowers us to triumph over all adversity.

1 SAMUEL 17:41-44 (NLT)

41 Goliath walked out toward David with his shield bearer ahead of him, 42 sneering in contempt at this ruddy-faced boy. 43 “Am I a dog,” he roared at David, “that you come at me with a stick?” And he cursed David by the names of his gods. 44 “Come over here, and I’ll give your flesh to the birds and wild animals!” Goliath yelled.

This scripture perfectly describes what transpired when the devil challenged us in the spiritual world. It implies that we are now experiencing trials in our lives. A similar thing happens in the spiritual world, where we are ridiculed, cursed, etc. Demons manifest in our lives in all kinds of ways. Since demons are spirits and cannot be seen in the physical world, you should use the Bible verses that are relevant to your situation as your armour.

1 SAMUEL 17:45-47 (NLT)

45 David replied to the Philistine, “You come to me with sword, spear, and javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies—the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. 46 Today the Lord will conquer you, and I will kill you and cut off your head. And then I will give the dead bodies of your men to the birds and wild animals, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel! 47 And everyone assembled here will know that the Lord rescues his people, but not with sword and spear. This is the Lord’s battle, and he will give you to us!”

You will respond in the same manner as David did in that passage with regards to the Philistines. We must respond "IN THE NAME OF THE LORD OF HEAVEN'S ARMIES—THE GOD OF THE ARMIES OF ISRAEL" to every temptation, sword, demon's arrow, or any attack that comes into our lives. This is why "in the name of Jesus Christ" is so powerful.

The attacks on us by demons will be ceased by the Lord. We humans don't need to kill our enemies with guns, daggers, knives, swords, or anything else. Because the battle is against wicked spirits rather than flesh and blood, and because it is ultimately God's battle, we shall use ALL OF GOD'S ARMOR (Ephesians 6:13–17). As a result, we will proclaim to the public that God is the source of our victory. People will then be able to witness how our trials glorify God.

1 SAMUEL 17:48-51 (NLT)

48 As Goliath moved closer to attack, David quickly ran out to meet him. 49 Reaching into his shepherd’s bag and taking out a stone, he hurled it with his sling and hit the Philistine in the forehead. The stone sank in, and Goliath stumbled and fell face down on the ground. 50 So David triumphed over the Philistine with only a sling and a stone, for he had no sword. 51 Then David ran over and pulled Goliath’s sword from its sheath. David used it to kill him and cut off his head. When the Philistines saw that their champion was dead, they turned and ran.

According to this verse, we should run to meet Goliath when it appears in our lives, just like David did. Let's use the WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD, which is our weapon against our foe (Ephesians 6:13–17). Therefore, if we are going to defeat the demon attack—also known as Goliath—in our lives, the demon will be struck and knocked to the ground, where we will then kill them. In other words, no matter what temptations you face, if you rely on the Lord's promise, you will be victorious. So that's how you triumph, similar to how David did. As a result, when other evil spirits in the spiritual realm witness your victory over their leader, they will flee. For instance, if you use God's Word as a defence against the SPIRIT OF FEAR when he attacks you, he will be vanquished, and the surrounding evil spirits will depart. An example of how this passage relates to fear is:

ISAIAH 41:10 (NLT)

Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.

God permits difficulties in order to bring glory to Himself. Therefore, you focus your meditation on this, whatever your current difficulties may be. Isn't it incredible that God made us partners in our struggles? I was so in awe of God's revelations to me because of this. HALLELUJAH. Because this conflict or battle is God's, it is He who grants us victory.

2 CHRONICLES 20:17 (NLT)

But you will not even need to fight. Take your positions; then stand still and watch the Lord’s victory. He is with you, O people of Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid or discouraged. Go out against them tomorrow, for the Lord is with you!”

DEUTERONOMY 3:22 (NLT)

Do not be afraid of the nations there, for the Lord your God will fight for you.’

ROMANS 8:31 (NLT)

What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us?

ROMANS 8:35-37 (NLT)

35 Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? 36 (As the Scriptures say, “For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.”) 37 No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.

JOHN 16:33 (NLT)

I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”

LUKE 10:19 (NLT)

Look, I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy, and you can walk among snakes and scorpions and crush them. Nothing will injure you.

God's love for each of us is unfathomable. Trials do not imply that God does not still love you. Above all, he doesn't offer anything to people who can't handle it since he knows what he should do. Instead of complaining or blaming God when you face trials in life, you should be grateful because He is the one who will fight your battle, and He knows that your victory is in Him. However, you should also work alongside him so that you can share in God's glory. Therefore, be courageous to overcome your current predicament because God is at your side at all times.

Always pay close attention to what He says, for that is what strengthens you, especially in victory. Even your trials have a purpose that God allows in this world, and everything is for His glory. If we rely just on our own mental capacity, we are unable to comprehend everything, but if we allow God to disclose it to us and if it is in His will to do so, we will comprehend. Your relationship with Him, however, is the first step toward obtaining that, as it is through that relationship that you will learn about God's mysteries. Intimacy is necessary for any deep secret to be divulged.
