The Love Of A Father To His Son

When I was preparing breakfast, God spoke to me about His love. I continued to listen to him as I waited for my breakfast to cook. I hastened to finish cooking because I was so eager to hear what he had to say that I might forget later. Currently, when He spoke to me, I used to write it down so I wouldn't forget. He then gave me the passage referring to the Parable of the Lost Son. The verse is this:

LUKE 15:11-12 (NLT)

11 To illustrate the point further, Jesus told them this story: “A man had two sons. 12 The younger son told his father, ‘I want my share of your estate now before you die.’ So his father agreed to divide his wealth between his sons.

LUKE 15:13-16 (NLT)

13 “A few days later this younger son packed all his belongings and moved to a distant land, and there he wasted all his money in wild living. 14 About the time his money ran out, a great famine swept over the land, and he began to starve. 15 He persuaded a local farmer to hire him, and the man sent him into his fields to feed the pigs. 16 The young man became so hungry that even the pods he was feeding the pigs looked good to him. But no one gave him anything.

LUKE 15:17-19 (NLT)

17 “When he finally came to his senses, he said to himself, ‘At home even the hired servants have food enough to spare, and here I am dying of hunger! 18 I will go home to my father and say, “Father, I have sinned against both heaven and you, 19 and I am no longer worthy of being called your son. Please take me on as a hired servant.”’

LUKE 15:20-21 (NLT)

20 “So he returned home to his father. And while he was still a long way off, his father saw him coming. Filled with love and compassion, he ran to his son, embraced him, and kissed him. 21 His son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against both heaven and you, and I am no longer worthy of being called your son.’

LUKE 15:22-24 (NLT)

22 “But his father said to the servants, ‘Quick! Bring the finest robe in the house and put it on him. Get a ring for his finger and sandals for his feet. 23 And kill the calf we have been fattening. We must celebrate with a feast, 24 for this son of mine was dead and has now returned to life. He was lost, but now he is found.’ So the party began.

I was able to relate to my past when He revealed this scripture to me. Because of this, my heart was moved by God.. He went back in time in my life to the moment I knew I needed God—the time when I was trapped, when I had nothing else to look up to except Him, and I decided to surrender to Him.

Consequently, we might read this parable about a father's love for his son. It is exactly the same as God's love for us. We are given life, a body, abilities, gifts, and other things, but we just waste them on pointless things. Our bodies and lives should be presented as a sacrifice to God, but instead, they are given to evil things, such as those that are used for the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh, and the pride of life. However, when a person has challenges due to issues, loneliness, etc., they either become trapped at that point or start to feel puzzled about what to do. When faced with adversity and realising that there is no other option, the person acknowledges the error of his ways and repents, returning to the Lord.

However, despite our sinfulness, God is ready to accept and forgive us if we return to Him and repent of our transgressions. This parable describes how the Lord shows us that even though we are far away, He has great mercy and compassion to give us before we return to Him or do so. Then He embraced and kissed us; at this point, our hearts are touched, which allows us to cry a lot. We confess our sins and ask for His forgiveness as a result of that touch or conviction.

But since God is so merciful and compassionate, He expiates our sins through the blood of Jesus. Because of JESUS, God sees us in this way—as holy or righteous. The presence of God's angels is filled with gladness when even one sinner turns to God and repents for this reason.

LUKE 15:10 (NLT)

In the same way, there is joy in the presence of God’s angels when even one sinner repents.”

Therefore, if you are currently wasting the resources that God has granted you, give them all to Him for His glory rather than using them for selfish purposes. For instance, instead of surrendering everything to God since everything belongs to Him, you use your talents on any other social media platforms for entertainment or to draw attention to your pride instead of doing it for God's glory. Then you start abusing your body by engaging in vices, immoral behaviour, lust, foul language, and other sins. However, when you turn back to God, He will accept you despite your sin and forgive you.

Along with that, He will purify you so that you are holy and righteous in His eyes, which will grant you eternal life. Then he declared, "This son of mine was dead and is now alive again. He was lost, but he has now been found. So, the party started.’’ Our heavenly father's love is similar to this. even if we are worthless, disobedient, walk away from Him, lack time for Him, and so forth.

However, if we turn back to God, HIS HAND IS ALWAYS READY to embrace and kiss us in unconditional love and compassion, as well as ready to accept and forgive. That is the REAL LOVE of our FATHER IN HEAVEN. Where can we find such love? HALLELUJAH! Thank you so much, Lord, for your unrivalled love and mercy. Amen!

God has greatly impacted my heart since I was once lost and have now returned and been found. I felt the genuine joy, peace, love, and mercy of my Heavenly Father. Before, there was nothing wherever I looked for the person, the thing, or the place. But true satisfaction is found in God alone. Oh, God, how I adore you!

How Can We Hear the Voice of God?

Before I truly encountered God, I thought knowing Him was only about religion, traditions, or attending church. I never understood what it truly meant to have a personal relationship with Him or to hear His voice through the Holy Spirit. This Is Not Religion—This Is a Relationship with God

Many people think Christianity is only about religion, traditions, or simply knowing about God. But there is a huge difference between knowing God’s name and truly having a personal relationship with Him. Everything changed when God opened my spiritual eyes and allowed me to experience His presence, love, grace, and truth in a real way. This testimony is about how God transformed my life, restored my relationship with Him through Jesus Christ, and showed me that following Him is not just about religion—it is about intimacy, surrender, and walking with Him personally every single day. Hallelujah🙌🏻 I thought I knew God… but I only knew His name. I am so thankful to the Lord, and this is one of the reasons why I will honor, praise, and worship Him forever and ever. AMEN! Hallelujah🙌🏻 Ever since I was a child, when I was still in elementary school, I would always pray...
