What Happens When You Invite Jesus Into Your Home

When we let Jesus into our home, there will certainly be a lot of incredible things that take place. Imagine if our Lord and Savior came to our house; that is a God-given grace that people will experience if it happens to them. No matter how disorderly and filthy our home is, the most important thing is that we have a special guest who will be responsible for cleaning it up, restoring any broken items, and replacing any missing things. Isn't it fantastic that if we build our house, God will create everything new? Because no one else except Him and Him alone is capable of doing it, it is truly a huge grace to mankind. I'm quite excited to talk about this topic, mainly because of the outcomes it will have on people. In Jesus' Mighty Name, I pray that you will be among those who experience that favour from above and that you will also be blessed with regard to this subject. Amen!

What will happen if we invite Jesus over to our house? This passage applies to this.

LUKE 19:1-4 (NLT)

1 Jesus entered Jericho and made his way through the town. 2 There was a man there named Zacchaeus. He was the chief tax collector in the region, and he had become very rich. 3 He tried to get a look at Jesus, but he was too short to see over the crowd. 4 So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore-fig tree beside the road, for Jesus was going to pass that way.

LUKE 19:5-7 (NLT)

5 When Jesus came by, he looked up at Zacchaeus and called him by name. “Zacchaeus!” he said. “Quick, come down! I must be a guest in your home today.” 6 Zacchaeus quickly climbed down and took Jesus to his house in great excitement and joy. 7 But the people were displeased. “He has gone to be the guest of a notorious sinner,” they grumbled.

LUKE 19:8-10 (NLT)

8 Meanwhile, Zacchaeus stood before the Lord and said, “I will give half my wealth to the poor, Lord, and if I have cheated people on their taxes, I will give them back four times as much!” 9 Jesus responded, “Salvation has come to this home today, for this man has shown himself to be a true son of Abraham. 10 For the Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost.”

When we talk about the word "home" in a natural sense, we mean the place where we actually live. However, in a spiritual sense, "home" signifies that we are what it refers to. In other words, we are the spiritual house of God because our bodies can become the house of God or the Holy Spirit when we ask Jesus into our hearts or accept Him as our Lord and Savior. It is called a temple because God is holy for this reason. Holy, holy, holy describes what we live in better than the word "house" could ever do!

1 CORINTHIANS 6:19-20 (NLT)

19 Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, 20 for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body.

1 CORINTHIANS 3:16-17 (NLT)

16 Don’t you realize that all of you together are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you? 17 God will destroy anyone who destroys this temple. For God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple.

Our darkness, also known as sins or evil things, will be revealed when Jesus is in our home. Since Jesus is the light that shines in our darkness, Then, because the one who lives is holy, the person will also change. Zacchaeus experienced that after highlighting or realising his wickedness. In addition, God will change our hearts and spirits once Jesus is in our home. You can develop a new spirit and a new heart. Zacchaeus had a similar transformation, becoming a NEW CREATION IN CHRIST.

EPHESIANS 5:8-14 (NLT)

8 For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light! 9 For this light within you produces only what is good and right and true. 10 Carefully determine what pleases the Lord. 11 Take no part in the worthless deeds of evil and darkness; instead, expose them. 12 It is shameful even to talk about the things that ungodly people do in secret. 13 But their evil intentions will be exposed when the light shines on them, 14 for the light makes everything visible. This is why it is said, “Awake, O sleeper, rise up from the dead, and Christ will give you light.”

JOHN 8:12 (NLT)

Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, “I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.”

JESUS declared, "Salvation has come to this house," after observing Zacchaeus' transformation. Because JESUS recognised Zacchaeus' faith in God and his acceptance of JESUS CHRIST as His Lord and Savior, Therefore, if someone has faith in God, they can be called "ABRAHAM'S DESCENDANT."

ROMANS 4:16 (NLT)

So the promise is received by faith. It is given as a free gift. And we are all certain to receive it, whether or not we live according to the law of Moses, if we have faith like Abraham’s. For Abraham is the father of all who believe.

That is the reason Jesus came to this world: to search for and save the lost. No matter how sinful you are, if you want to see Jesus like Zacchaeus did when he ran ahead and climbed the tree to see Him, God is right now passing by your place and is looking at you to see if you want to be like the person who longs for God's righteousness or holiness. He calls you by name and says, "QUICK! Come! ""I Have to Visit Your Home Today." But the question is, "Are you prepared to welcome Jesus into your home?" OR are you willing to accept him as your Lord and Savior?’’

Regardless of how miserable, sinful, or broken you may be, God is capable of removing, replacing, and restoring you. However, the Lord looks at your heart to see if it has been fully surrendered to Him. He is prepared to give you a new heart and a new spirit, as well as heal your spiritual eyes and ears. This is the time for your salvation, for you to have ETERNAL LIFE. Don't ignore God's free gift and don't waste time before it’s too late.

You will experience true joy that you have never felt before in the world or witnessed by anyone else if you accept Him into your heart without hesitation. Because God alone may be seen as the creator of everything, He is the sole source of true joy and fulfilment. Despite the difficulties in life, you are resilient because of the joy that God has filled you with. Above all, you will begin to transform as you come to see how filthy you are and how much you need a Savior. You can follow God's thoughts and ways since they are in line with His will and they lead to true salvation and eternal life.

2 CORINTHIANS 6:2 (NLT)

For God says, “At just the right time, I heard you. On the day of salvation, I helped you.” Indeed, the “right time” is now. Today is the day of salvation.

Inviting Jesus into your home is more than welcoming Him into a physical place—it is opening your heart and life to Him. Just as Zacchaeus was transformed through his encounter with Jesus, God desires to bring salvation, restoration, and spiritual renewal to everyone who places their faith in Christ. No matter your past or present condition, Jesus is still seeking and saving the lost. The question remains: Will you welcome Him into your home and heart today?

How Can We Hear the Voice of God?

Before I truly encountered God, I thought knowing Him was only about religion, traditions, or attending church. I never understood what it truly meant to have a personal relationship with Him or to hear His voice through the Holy Spirit. Looking back now, I realize that God had been patiently drawing me to Him even during the moments when I was spiritually blind and unaware of His presence. Through many experiences, struggles, convictions, and encounters, God slowly transformed my life and opened my spiritual eyes to know Him personally. This Is Not Religion—This Is a Relationship with God

Many people think Christianity is only about religion, traditions, or simply knowing about God. But there is a huge difference between knowing God’s name and truly having a personal relationship with Him. Everything changed when God opened my spiritual eyes and allowed me to experience His presence, love, grace, and truth in a real way.
