A Love Letter to God

Dear God, 


I Love You So Much.

My heart belongs to You.


You are the desire of my heart and the One my soul longs for. My thoughts continually return to You, and my heart finds its home in Your presence.


Everything I am and everything I have is Yours. Every breath, every dream, every joy, and every part of my life belongs to You.


You are mine, and I am Yours.


There is no place I would rather be than in Your presence, and there is no greater treasure than knowing You, loving You, and walking with You each day.



My heart is overflowing with joy and gratitude as I worship You. As I rejoice in Your presence, all I want to do is praise You and thank You for everything You have done in my life.


Thank You for teaching me how to love You.


Thank You for Your great love for me.

Thank You for saving me.

Thank You for Your faithfulness.

Thank You for Your grace.

Thank You for Your mercy.

Thank You for Your compassion.

Thank You for Your goodness.

Thank You for Your kindness.


Thank You for everything, God.


You are my God forever and ever. You are my King, my Lord, my Savior, my Father, and my Best Friend.


You are my everything.





When I was a child, I did not know You. Then I heard about Your name and began calling upon You, yet I could not hear You.


But as I grew older, I slowly came to know You. Little by little, You gently touched my heart until I encountered You and came to know You personally.


Through my relationship with You, I came to understand something beautiful: before I ever came to You or called upon Your name, You were already calling me and drawing me to Yourself.


That was when I realized, God, how immeasurable Your love is for me.


I also came to understand that what I had been searching for all my life, even since childhood, was love. But I could not find it, so I searched for it in other people, yet I still came up empty. Many times, I was hurt while searching for the love I longed for—a love that is genuine, unwavering, unconditional, and without limits.


Then I found all of that in You.


Your love is always available. Your love gives me peace. Your love fills me with joy. Your love brings healing, comfort, and transformation to my life.


When I am hurting, You are always there to comfort me. When I make mistakes, You are always there to correct me. When I am happy, You are always there to rejoice with me.


When I feel discouraged, You are always there to encourage me. When I stumble, You are always there to help me stand again. When I am sick, You are always there to heal me.


When I feel trapped, You are always there to rescue me. When I am mistreated, You are always there to shelter me. When I am falsely accused, You are always there to defend me. When I am in danger, You are always there to protect me.


During my wilderness seasons, You are there, training and shaping me. In my moments of weakness, You are always there, giving me strength.


You are my joy.

You are my life.

You are my strength.

You are my everything.


My heart sings to You.

My heart finds joy in You.

My heart praises You.

And my heart loves You.



Forever, I belong to You.

But there is a huge difference between knowing God’s name and truly having a personal relationship with Him. For a long time, I thought I already knew God, but deep inside, I had never truly encountered Him personally.
